Nima Elyassi-Rad is an advisor at EquityZen. Nima previously worked as an investor at O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, where they helped founders build real businesses. Nima also worked as an executive in residence at Canvas Ventures, where they met with many founders, mapped markets, and did due diligence. In addition, Nima has held positions as the vice president of business development and strategic partnerships at Shippo, the head of sales intelligence at Groupon, and a private investor. Nima has also served as an advisor to Shippo and marketplace operations at RecruitLoop.

Nima Elyassi-Rad has an MBA in finance from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BA in communication arts: communication science and rhetorical studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
