Jim Kaplan is currently an advisor at EquityZen, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were with Fermata Discovery as a managing partner from 2019 to 2020. Jim also served as CEO of Thnks from 2018 to 2019, and was with Bevi as a co-founder and COO from 2016 to 2018.

Kaplan began their career in financial services, working as an analyst at Chasella Capital Partners from 2014 to 2016. Jim then moved on to Kabro Associates LLC as a consultant from 2016 to 2017 before joining TripleMint as VP of Business Development in 2017. Jim was with NextGen Angels as a managing partner from 2017 to 2018 before taking on the role of CEO at Thnks.

Jim Kaplan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Central Florida.
