Teodoro (Jong) Santiago is an accomplished IT Audit and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) professional with extensive experience in managing and enhancing internal controls within diverse organizations. Currently serving in IT Internal Audit at EquiTrust Life Insurance Company since February 2018, Teodoro has provided critical pre-implementation audit services on significant IT transition projects. Prior roles include IT GRC Consultant for Walgreens Boots Alliance, IT Audit Consultant for The Warranty Group, and Director of Business Transformation for Expert Global Solutions, among others. Teodoro’s background includes a solid foundation in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and IT audit management, having held leadership positions within major corporations such as PepsiCo and Tribune Company, as well as a managerial role at Ernst & Young, LLP. Educational qualifications include partial completion of a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ateneo Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
