Riya Patel is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance and automation, currently serving as a Professor at Conestoga College since March 2023, where responsibilities include teaching a quality assurance and automation course. Riya has held pivotal roles at Cognizant since August 2021, functioning as both a Change And Release Manager and a Senior API Automation Engineer, managing releases and changes for Canadalife. Prior to this, Riya worked as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Miipe Quality Solutions from February 2021 to March 2023, where contributions included developing automated test scripts, participating in design processes, and collaborating closely with clients and developers. Additional experience includes working as a QA Automation Tester at LotLinx, Inc., a QA Automation Engineer at Finesoft Technology, and a Quality Assurance Analyst at Intelli Sai Consulting. Riya holds a Postgraduate degree in Computer Software Engineering from Conestoga College and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gujarat Technological University.
