Marco Camez serves as the Mining Technology (IT) Manager at Equinox Gold Corp. since October 2017, where responsibilities include managing and optimizing various IT systems, particularly SAP HANA and other technological frameworks for Los Filos Mine and the Bermejal UG project. Prior experience includes IT Superintendent roles at Minera Media Luna, where the development of communication systems and cybersecurity strategies was essential, and Agnico-Eagle Mines, overseeing administrative and IT operations across multiple mine locations. Previously held positions include IT Manager for Farallon Mining, IT Operations Coordinator for Goldcorp’s Penasquito Project, and IT Coordinator roles in various other companies. Marco Camez holds degrees in Information Technology and Finance from Instituto Tecnologico de Los Mochis and Tecnológico de Monterrey, respectively.
