Karan Kanchan has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 when they interned at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. During this internship, they shadowed physical therapists and learned about assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation protocols. Karan also gained experience operating various equipment for physical therapy and rehabilitation purposes. In 2013, they worked as a Student Technical Lead at the University of Southern California's Information Technology Services, where they were initially hired as an assistant but later promoted to a lead position. Karan'sresponsibilities included ensuring the smooth functioning of classroom and laboratory technology and mentoring and training newly hired assistants.
In 2014, Karan founded Vayu Technology and served as the Founder & Inventor. Then, in 2016, they began serving as a Mentor, Panelist, and Guest Speaker at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Karan also became a Researcher at the Human Performance Analytics Club (H-PAC) in 2014. Karan continued to expand their involvement with the University of Southern California, taking on various roles such as being a Board Member at the Alumni Entrepreneurs Network (AEN) and a Mentor at USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
In 2017, Karan joined PIXACORE as a Product Engineer, where they worked on prototyping, conceptualization, testing, and validation in the pharmaceutical education and engagement space using VR technology.
