David Petrie

Chief Operating Officer at Equator

David Petrie has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career in 2003 as a Research Student at the University of Glasgow, specifically in the Department of Experimental Particle Physics. In 2004, they joined CERN as a Research Student in the LHCb VELO team. David continued their research work at the University of Glasgow from 2005 to 2006 as a PhD student in Experimental Particle Physics.

In 2006, David transitioned into the software engineering field and joined SIMUL8 Corporation as a Senior software engineer. David worked there for five years until 2011.

From 2011 onwards, David's career focused on leadership and development roles. David initially joined Equator as the Application Development Team Leader in June 2011. Finally, in February 2023, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at Equator.
