Neil Middleton has extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on payment solutions. Neil began their career as an Account Executive and worked their way up to becoming a Client Director at UK Mail, where they successfully won tenders for blue chip clients and exceeded targets. Neil then joined Western Union Business Solutions as a Key Account Manager, before being promoted to Client Director and later Head of Strategic Accounts, where they achieved revenue targets and took part in a sales transformation project. Middleton also worked at Western Union Northern Europe GmbH as an Account Director, where they developed relationships with global clients and exceeded KPIs. Prior to that, they worked at Travelex as an Account Director, where they played a key role in diversifying the company into mass payments-as-a-service. Middleton's most recent role was at Ebury, where they served as a Key Account Director for mass payments. Neil is currently the Group Relationship Director at Equals Money.
Neil Middleton received their BSc Honours degree in Managerial and Administrative Studies from Aston Business School from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Cheadle Hulme High School from 1986 to 1991. Besides their academic education, they obtained additional certifications in "Cold Calling: Overcoming Sales Objections," "Selling to Executives," and "Selling to the C-Suite" from LinkedIn in 2020.
