Cindy López is a Regional Field Organizer at Equality California, focusing on mobilizing members and volunteers to support Equality California’s endorsed candidates in San Diego County. Prior to joining Equality California, Cindy was an Area Director for teachers’ union, San Diego Educators Association, where she worked on revamping the voluntary funding structure of the union’s PAC to support local endorsed candidates and measures from the standpoint of educational issues. She previously served as a Teach For America corps member and taught bilingual elementary education in her childhood neighborhood.
