Doug Van Brunt is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in midstream management and trading. Currently serving as Midstream Manager at EQT Corporation since July 2021, Doug previously held the position of Vice President of Midstream at Alta Resources, L.L.C., where management of Marcellus midstream natural gas assets was a key focus. Doug’s career includes roles such as Executive Director of Upstream Business Development at Castleton Commodities International, Senior Natural Gas Trader at Lochridge Investment Advisors, and Director of Natural Gas Trading at Credit Suisse. Earlier positions involve senior trading and analytical roles, beginning as an Oil & Gas Analyst/Trader at Merrill Lynch Commodities Inc, and leading to a background in geological engineering from notable companies like Koch Exploration Co and Shell. Doug holds both MS and BS degrees in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University.
