Head Of Inside Sales & Order Operations Manager at EPLAN

Scott Miller has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott started their career at Allen L. Kracower and Associates as a Senior Planner, where they provided consulting services and expertise in land use planning for developers and private landowners. Scott then worked as a Community Planner at the Brick Industry Association, where they provided planning consultation, wrote design standards, and delivered educational presentations.

Scott later joined Concurrency as an Inside Sales Representative, assisting prospective clients in finding effective business solutions. At Magenium, they served as an Account Development Manager, focusing on improving visibility, executing marketing events, and assisting SMB clients with their cloud implementations.

In 2017, Scott joined EPLAN as an Inside Sales Representative, working closely with marketing and territory account managers to increase market share and understanding clients' needs. Scott quickly progressed to the role of Head of Inside Sales - USA, leading the inside sales team, developing internal processes, and managing client accounts. In 2021, Scott also took on the role of Head of Inside Sales Rittal & EPLAN at Rittal North America, where their responsibilities included building and developing a national inside sales organization.

Currently, Scott serves as the Head of Inside Sales & Order Operations Manager at EPLAN, where they continue to manage and improve inside sales and order operations, streamline processes, and enhance internal efficiencies.

Scott Miller obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1998. In addition, they have received various certifications, including Franklin Covey Sales Training from FranklinCovey in 2018, and Microsoft certifications in MS Dynamics CRM implementations from 2011 to 2014. Scott also holds certifications in Impact Advantage Sales Training and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
