Gary Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Gary started their career as an Engineer at NEC Ireland Ltd. in 1977 and later worked as a Technical & Business Development Manager at National Microelectronics Applications Centre Ltd. from 1981 to 1983. Following that, they served as a Senior Product Marketing Engineer at Analog Devices between 1984 and 1986.

In 1986, Carroll became the Owner/Managing Director of Blackbird Data Systems Ltd., a role they held for fifteen years until 2001. During this time, they also founded Wheatmount Services Ltd. in 2001, where they served as a Director.

Carroll then ventured into new endeavors, establishing himself as an entrepreneur and director across multiple companies. Gary was the Owner/Director of Blackbird Properties from 1997, Founder of EpiSensor from 2007, Owner/Director of IC Mask Design from 2002 to 2007, and Owner/Director Technology, Sales & Marketing at both www.mac.ie (2004-2006) and Suparule Systems Ltd. (2001-2006).
