Leydy Garcia, PEng, currently serves as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Epiroc since October 2023, following a role as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Allied Welding Systems from June to October 2023. Previous experience includes positions as a Geomechanics Engineer at Enlighten Geoscience Ltd. from March 2018 to June 2023, a Geomechanics Specialist at Canadian Discovery Ltd. from January 2014 to November 2015, and a Geomechanics Engineer at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. from September 2005 to February 2012. Leydy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, alongside a Master of Engineering in Reservoir Characterization Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Drilling & Well Engineering from Robert Gordon University.
