Volkan Savasan is an experienced technology leader with a career spanning over two decades in software development and architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at EPAM Systems since March 2014, Volkan manages five distributed teams within the Healthcare Business Unit, driving digital transformation for a leading healthcare provider. Previously, Volkan co-founded Chartangel LLC, an advertising startup for mobile game developers, and held key roles at Netsoft USA as a Principal Solutions Architect and Sr. Software Engineer, where contributions helped grow the company to over 80 employees before its acquisition by EPAM. Earlier experience includes software engineering positions at Kariyer.net and Metkom Multimedia, along with advanced degrees in Computer Science from Pace University and Istanbul University.
