Christiane Karam is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in various roles within the music industry. Since September 2016, Christiane Karam has served as the bandleader of the Christiane Karam Quintet while also being the founder and leader of Voices Workshop since January 2014. A professor at Berklee College of Music since September 2007, Christiane Karam teaches diverse subjects such as Jazz, Vocal Improvisation, Middle Eastern Music, Songwriting/Social Change, and Balkan music. Christiane Karam has founded and directed multiple ensembles and festivals, including the Berklee Middle Eastern Fusion Ensemble, Pletenitsa Balkan Choir, and the Berklee Annual Middle Eastern Festival. Additionally, Christiane Karam has experience as a health coach, film composer, and co-facilitator for workshops, and holds multiple degrees in music and related fields from prestigious institutions.
