Fabiola Ruiz Pelayo is an experienced geophysicist currently serving as a Senior Geophysicist at EOG Resources since June 2016, following progressive roles from Geophysicist I to Geophysicist II. Fabiola's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geophysics from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar. Work experience includes a graduate thesis project focused on rock-physics and seismic analysis for the Marcellus Shale, research assistantship at EOG Resources, and internships at Halliburton and Subsuelo 3D S.A.S, where Fabiola specialized in rock physics characterization of unconventional oil reservoirs. Additionally, teaching experience was gained as an undergraduate teaching assistant in mineralogy, petrology, and geophysical applications.
