David Young is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in management and technical operations. Currently serving as IT Manager at E&O Laboratories Ltd since June 2021, David previously held the same role at the same company from August 2014 to May 2020 and has also worked as an IT Consultant for David Young IT Consulting Services from June 2020 to June 2021. Additionally, David spent nearly three decades at Carron Phoenix Ltd, where responsibilities included managing a small IT department and overseeing the operation of a Data General minicomputer. David began their career in the sales office as a Stock Controller. David holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde, obtained between 1978 and 1982.
