Wendy Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Wendy is currently serving as the Director of Contracting and Legal Affairs at Envolve Health since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director at Carlton Family Foundation from May 2018 to December 2021. Wendy also has experience as a Board Member at Nash Rocky Mount Schools from December 2014 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at North Carolina Wesleyan College from August 2012 to December 2014. Wendy began their professional journey as a Lawyer at Batts, Batts & Bell, LLP from June 2001 to November 2009.

Wendy Wilson received their Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Rochester Institute of Technology from 1986 to 1990. Wendy then pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work at Florida State University from 1990 to 1991. Following that, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1997 to 2000 and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in the field of Law.
