David Najera is a Senior Legal Counsel at Enviva since September 2022 and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at American University Washington College of Law since January 2022. Previously, David served as a Finance and M&A Associate at Holland & Hart LLP from March 2021 to September 2022 and as an M&A Associate at Baker Botts from October 2017 to March 2021, focusing on project finance, unsecured corporate loans, and various security agreements. David holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law (2014-2017) and a Lawyer (LL.B.) degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (2007-2012).
