Georgie Lawton's work experience starts in 2012 as an Account Executive at Ashfield, part of UDG Healthcare. They then progressed to become an Account Manager and later an Account Director within the same company. In 2019, Lawton joined Envision Pharma Group as an Account Director, and then moved up to Senior Account Director and ultimately VP Portfolio Director. Lawton's most recent role and current position are as the VP Portfolio Director at Envision Pharma Group.

Georgie Lawton obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, studying from 2005 to 2008.
