Thomas Connell possesses extensive experience in civil engineering and program management, currently serving as a Programme Manager at the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce since November 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas worked at Arup from January 2006 to November 2022 as a Senior Engineer and Highways Engineer. Earlier professional experience includes a position as Design Coordinator at Ryan Hanley/WSP in 2005 and a similar role at the National Roads Authority from 1996 to 2005. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus (2007-2009) and a Certificate of Competence in Road Safety Audit from University College Dublin (2012).
