Thomas Beach is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in video production, web development, and nursing. Currently serving as a Fellow and Video Producer at the Environmental and Energy Study Institute since January 2019, Thomas previously instructed at Flatiron School and NewYork Code + Design Academy, where expertise in web development was applied. Thomas began a career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse at Georgetown University Hospital and National Rehabilitation Hospital, providing patient care and health education. Earlier experiences include roles in film production as a Freelance Grip/Gaffer and serving as the Director of the Professional Production Unit at Ithaca College, where Thomas produced award-winning media and developed advanced training simulations. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University.
