Makarena Araya has worked for several companies since 2016. Makarena began their career at Abaflex Ltda. as a Práctica in 2016. In 2018, they moved to Nestlé as a Práctica Profesional. In 2019, they joined Inconex as an Asesor de Marketing Digital and Universidad del Desarrollo as an Embajadora Plaza Innovación. In 2020, they began working for REMODE as a Socio, TREID SpA as a Key Account Manager KAM, and Envíame as a Carrier Manager Specialist and Carrier Manager.

Makarena Araya attended Universidad del Desarrollo from 2013 to 2017 and Universidad Católica del Norte from 2012 to 2013.
