Derek Aten is an accomplished eCommerce leader and Chief Technology Officer with extensive experience in driving growth within online businesses and digital transformation initiatives. Currently serving as a consultant CTO at Entertainment Earth since July 2023, Derek previously held the role of VP of eCommerce at Invisible Narratives, focusing on Shopify development and achieving significant conversion rate improvements. Notably, Derek worked at Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Killer Merch in various leadership capacities, overseeing strategy, technology operations, and vendor negotiations. With a solid foundation in software engineering and project management established during tenure at Entertainment Earth, RND Power Solutions, and other organizations, Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from California State University, Los Angeles.
