Adam "Clay" Raine has worked in a variety of roles in the data visualization and analysis field. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a Production Assistant, Marketing and Communications for NewsHour Productions, LLC, where they managed and analyzed audience data for PBS NewsHour. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Research/Media Analyst II for WTI (Webworld Technologies, Inc.), where they conducted market research, created dashboards and analyzed audience data for Voice of America. Currently, they are employed as a Data Visualization Engineer for Enterra Solutions, LLC, where they work with Power BI (Desktop, Service, Premium, Dataflows, Power Query), R Studio, DAX Studio, Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake), Excel, Access, Vizio, PowerApps, Git, VS Code, Databricks and Python to create solutions for measurement, Power BI administration, dashboards, PBI Service Apps, data models, row level security, dataflows, R scripts for ETL, measures and custom visualization, DAX measures and custom tooltips, and GIS visualization.
Adam "Clay" Raine began their education in 1995 at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a focus in Public Finance. Adam "Clay" continued their studies at The Graduate School, University of Kentucky (Martin School of Public Policy and Administration), earning a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Finance. In 2000, they began studying at Indiana University Bloomington, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, General in 2001. In addition to their formal education, Adam has obtained numerous certifications, including Exam 70-778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI from Microsoft in 2020, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) - An Introduction from Udemy in 2019, Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus (Imperial College London) from Coursera in 2019, and many more.
