Jacqueline Chia

Deputy Director (innovation Ecosystem Development) at ENTERPRISE SINGAPORE

Jacqueline Chia has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jacqueline currently holds the position of Deputy Director (Innovation Ecosystem Development) at Enterprise Singapore, a role they have been in since June 2020.

Prior to this, they worked at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore) for nearly a decade. Their roles there included Team Lead (Enterprise Development) from September 2016 to July 2019, Senior Assistant Director (Energy Markets) from April 2014 to September 2016, and Assistant Director (Energy Policy & International Cooperation) from February 2011 to April 2014.

Before joining the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Jacqueline Chia served as a Research Analyst at the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore from January 2007 to January 2011.

Jacqueline Chia has a diverse education history spanning several prestigious institutions. In 2020, they attended the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business for an Advanced Management, Business and Public Policy program. During the same year, they also participated in the Excellence in Finance Program at The Wharton School. Additionally, they completed the Berkeley-Nanyang Advanced Management Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Before these programs, Jacqueline obtained their Nanyang Fellows MBA degree from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at the National University of Singapore from 2002 to 2006. During their undergraduate studies, they had the opportunity to engage in an exchange semester at Sciences Po in 2004-2005.

In terms of certifications, Jacqueline completed the Corporate Venture Capital Workshop - Group offered by Expara in February 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a certification for the Berkeley-Nanyang Advanced Management Program from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in May 2020.
