Steven Miller is currently the Marketing Manager at EnsoData. Prior to that, they were a Marketing Strategist at CB&A from January 2019 to March 2020. There, their primary responsibility was to develop social listening, community management, email marketing, SEO auditing, website usability, paid marketing programs, and relationships to propel brand strategies and communicate and cultivate the positioning of CB&A and the clients we represent.
Miller has also worked on a 50/50 split between the two, providing strategic counsel as needed in partnership with client liaisons regarding marketing projects and opportunities. Work for clients included: lead generation, online marketing, customer retention processes, and email marketing campaigns. With client liaisons, they developed traffic generation strategies to improve paid marketing efforts. Steven optimized activities for the quantity and quality of traffic and engagement when possible.
Steven also managed internal marketing projects from start to finish, including working with a team of 3 contributors that reported to him on projects and another 5 leadership members who contributed, depending on the project. Additionally, they were responsible for monitoring, researching and analyzing social/SEO/SEM/Google analytics and campaign performance for both CB&A and clients. Steven also helped develop the agency's first ever lead scoring system, the first ever KPIs associated with deals and clients, and the first ever budget for marketing work done at the agency. In order to optimize their team's processes, they worked closely with the President and VP on business development projects, including developing client budgets, SOWs, and joining pitch calls.
Their favorite accomplishment is the complete renovation of the blog content process. Their blogs are so much stronger in terms of Google search, with over 200% growth in visibility year over year. The blog sidebar form fill was second only to their contact us page. They featured experts on content assets, and they championed that process, from interviews to content review and promotion.
Steven Miller got their Bachelor of Arts from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Journalism, Strategic Communication, Spanish. Steven also has a certification from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Managing Time, Multiple Priorities and Interruptions. Lastly, they are HubSpot Marketing Software Certified from HubSpot.
