Rob Koncar has worked in the field of science since 2011. Rob began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati. In 2017, they moved to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as a Postdoctoral Associate. In 2019, they joined Skyhawk Therapeutics as a Scientist I, and was later promoted to Scientist II and Senior Scientist. In 2022, they began working at Ensem Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist.

Rob Koncar completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of St. Francis in 2011. Rob then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Systems Biology & Physiology in 2017. After graduating, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine until 2019.
