Amit Chatterjee (Ph.D.) has over 30 years of cross-sector professional experience focused on creating social impact through the establishment and operationalization of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems, social enterprises, and livelihoods programming. They have worked with various international organizations, including UNDP and GIZ, and have been instrumental in developing strategies for government projects, particularly in the Indian states of Uttarakhand and Meghalaya. Amit successfully founded two social enterprises, significantly improving market access for thousands of farmers and artisans. Currently, they serve as a Project Advisor with Ernst & Young, leading a team to implement the MSME Champions Scheme for the Government of India. Amit holds a Ph.D. in Social Entrepreneurship from Pacific University Udaipur, among other advanced degrees.
