Johanna Gil Posada is the Founder and Managing Partner of Elevar Equity, a pioneering firm in impact investing established in May 2008, dedicated to supporting durable businesses for Entrepreneurial Households and the #EPICopportunity. With a focus on various sectors, including microfinance, affordable housing, healthcare, education, agriculture, and MSMEs, Elevar Equity has been a leader in identifying and investing in entrepreneurial trends since 2006. In November 2023, Johanna co-founded Enmasse World, which aims to connect individuals and organizations invested in Entrepreneurial Households and Industrious Communities in the Global South, starting in India. Previous professional roles include Senior Associate at Unitus Equity Fund LP, MFI Investment Manager at Unitus Inc., Senior Financial Analyst at ExxonMobil, and Economist at Banco de México. Johanna holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from ITAM in Mexico.
