Dan Styf serves as the Chief Strategic Transformation Officer at VCU Health since October 2020, where responsibilities include developing High Value Care programs and leading a strategic partnership with Sentara/Optima Health. Styf also holds multiple advisory roles, serving as a Strategic Advisor for Enlace Health and RecoverX. As President of DS Healthcare Strategies since July 2017, Styf guides senior executives in managing provider-sponsored health plans and innovative payor-provider partnerships. Previous positions include Chief Strategic Transformation Officer at Virginia Premier, SVP and CEO of Memorial Hermann Health Plan, and SVP of Operations at Piedmont WellStar HealthPlans. Styf's early career included significant roles at Kaiser Permanente and the Alliance of Community Health Plans, focusing on health plan operations and strategic consulting. Styf's educational background includes a Master of Science in Evaluative Clinical Science from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from Hope College.
