Markos Giannopoulos has worked in the technology industry since 1998. Markos began their career as Co-Owner/Administrator of the Apolyton Civilization Site in 1998. In 2001, they became Founder and Head of Development at Top40-Charts.com. In 2002, they founded Apogee Information Systems and served as Technical Director. In 2013, they became Chief Technology Officer at ENKI Inc. and in 2014 they became Chief Technology Officer at Evolutionary Archetypes Consulting SL.

Markos Giannopoulos has an extensive educational background. Markos obtained their Master of Business Administration - MBA from The University of Sheffield in 2016, and a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) from Chartered Management Institute in 2017. Markos has also obtained numerous certifications, including The Digital Economy: Success through Market Segmentation from The Open University in 2017, Basic Technical Writing with a Project Management Emphasis from JER Online in 2016, and Fundamentals of Graphic Design from California Institute of the Arts in 2016. Giannopoulos obtained their undergraduate degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 1994 and 2000.
