Mihir Madhaparia is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the President and Project Lead for Engineers Without Borders USA, focusing on water sourcing and sanitation projects in Malawi and Ethiopia. Mihir holds positions as a Graduate Research Assistant in both the McAlpine Research Group and the Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center at the University of Minnesota, where efforts center on advanced 3D printing techniques and innovative suturing methods, respectively. Mihir also has experience as a Research & Development Co-op at Abbott, leading projects for prosthetic heart valves, and previously interned as a Structural Engineering Intern at SUPERFIT STEELCON LTD. Academically, Mihir is nearing completion of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, with prior education at Oshwal Academy Nairobi.
