Sama Abri possesses extensive experience in various roles related to engineering, architecture, and community service. Currently involved with Engineers and Geoscientists BC as a member of the Audit and Practice Review Committee, Sama actively contributes to the safety and growth of the province. Other significant positions include serving on the CDI College Program Advisory Committee, and acting as a Youth Employment Advisor at Douglas College. Sama also participates in local governance through the Board of Variance and the Heritage Advisory Committee for the District of West Vancouver, and the Advisory Design Panel for the District of Squamish. Previous roles include Quality Control Project Management at the City of Vancouver, board membership at the Architectural Institute of B.C., and founding partnership in the Mountain Academy of North America. Educational qualifications include degrees in Architectural Engineering and Building Engineering from multiple institutions, along with specialized training in leadership.
