Jaideep Sandhu serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the Renewables Global Business Unit at ENGIE since April 2015, leading initiatives to expand the company's renewable energy capacity from 31GW to 80GW by 2030 while enhancing operational performance and championing research and technology advancements. Sandhu's previous roles at ENGIE include Head of Technical Expertise Department and Director of Renewables, Energy Storage, and Transmission. In addition, Sandhu is a Council Member of the United Nations Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition, contributing to global strategies for net zero emissions. Prior experience includes leadership positions at International Power GDF Suez and National Power Plc., with a solid engineering foundation established at NTPC. Sandhu earned a B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Bilaspur, and completed a program at London Business School.
