Valeria Godoy Schiaffino currently serves as the Head of Greenfield Projects Origination at ENGIE Chile since October 2022. Previous roles include Director of Business Development and BD Project Manager at AES Andes, where significant projects such as the Hub Andes Solar (670 MWp) were developed. Valeria also held the position of Business Development Manager at OPDE and worked at SunEdison AG and Hidroenergia Chile Limitada, contributing to various renewable energy projects and achieving registrations under the UNFCCC's Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). An academic background includes a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh and a Diploma in Electricity Sector Regulation from Universidad de Chile. Valeria possesses expertise in project development, environmental permits, and energy sales.
