Dr. Matt Joiner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr. Matt most recently served as an Accreditation Commissioner at the International Accreditors for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) since 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at Energy Worldnet (EWN) starting in 2018. In 2017, they worked as a College/Career/Military Readiness Administrator Coach & School Counselor Liaison at ESC Region 11. From 2005 to 2017, Dr. Joiner served as a Dean at Weatherford College. Before that, they worked as a Professional Educator at Northwest ISD from 2003 to 2005, and at Decatur ISD from 2000 to 2003.
Dr. Matt Joiner has a strong educational background, having obtained multiple degrees and certifications. Dr. Matt completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University in 2015. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Texas Woman's University in 2005. Dr. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education from Tarleton State University, which they completed in 2000. Furthermore, Dr. Joiner has a High School Diploma from Stephenville High School, which they obtained in 1994. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including the American Petroleum Institute (API) Q2 Certificate from Wollam Groups, LLC, the E3 System Administrator Training and Instructional Design & Development Program from ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 & 2700 Certificate from Wollam Groups, LLC, the Master Evaluator Certificate Program, the Master Trainer Development Program, and the Soft Skills Development Program, all from ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN). Dr. Matt is also certified as a Texas Public School Principal and a Texas Public School Teacher by the Texas Education Agency.
