Laura Yang has a diverse range of work experience in the field of DevOps. Laura started their career at Barnard College as a Systems Administrator, where they managed major projects and implemented a proactive monitoring system using Nagios. Laura then joined New York University as a Systems Administrator, where they led the migration of virtual production systems and performed a VMware vSphere upgrade. Laura then worked as a DevOps Engineer at SinglePlatform, where they managed deployments, wrote automation scripts, and oversaw the production environment in AWS. Currently, they are working at EnergyHub as a DevOps Technical Lead, where they initiated an Infrastructure as Code initiative, developed deployment tooling, and migrated workflows and CI systems. Laura also managed MongoDB replica sets and databases, and updated the Ansible infrastructure. Overall, Laura has a strong background in managing infrastructure, automation, and migrations across various organizations.
