Adam Hauze has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship as an IT Specialist at Ohlson Packaging in 2017. During this time, they assessed potential cyber threats, conducted usability tests for the company website, and developed a desktop application to improve office efficiency.
Following their internship, Adam joined IBM in 2017 as a Business Analyst. In this role, they translated client's business requirements into agile user stories and use cases. Adam also collaborated with developers to conduct functional, load, and regression testing. Additionally, Adam performed monthly vulnerability scans using IBM Appscan.
At IBM, Adam also took on various other roles. As a Scrum Master, they led a development team in monthly agile releases for a tuition assistance portal. As a Frontend Web Developer, they implemented security controls for a cloud-native application and created front-end components using React. Adam also worked as an Application Developer, where they translated client requirements into production code, addressed security vulnerabilities, and performed server maintenance and upgrades.
In 2021, Adam joined Xcel Energy as a Cyber Security Engineer. During their tenure, they focused on ensuring the security of the organization's systems and networks.
Most recently, Adam has been working as a Software Engineer (Front-end) at EnergyCAP, LLC since 2022.
Adam Hauze attended Penn State University from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees. The first degree was in Information Sciences and Technology, while the second degree was in Security and Risk Analysis with a focus on Information and Cyber Security.
