Steven Smith has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

Their most recent role is as a Board Member at the NAESCO - National Association of Energy Service Companies starting in 2022.

Steven Smith earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, which they attended from 1993 to 1998. Steven then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Baldwin Wallace University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, Smith started professional continuing education in Microgrid at HeatSpring.
