Patrick Sharkany has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to 2017. Patrick started as a Senior Environmental Consultant at EnviroScience, Inc. in 1999, where they performed hazardous materials and indoor air quality inspections. In 2007, they moved to Langan Engineering & Environmental Services as a Senior Staff Scientist/Assistant Project Manager, working on assessment reports and cost estimates for remediation projects. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an Environmental Analyst III/Assistant Project Manager at Fuss & O'Neill-EnviroScience, LLC, managing hazardous material and indoor air quality assessment projects.
In 2010, they worked simultaneously at two companies. At Lady In Red Marketing, they served as a Researcher, Writer, and Editor, specializing in market research and writing/editorial functions for marketing projects. At W.W. GRAINGER,INC, d/b/a GRAINGER LIGHTING SERVICES, they served as a Deal Management/Project Development Manager, responsible for managing all aspects of energy savings projects.
In 2015, Patrick joined Efficient Lighting Consultants as a Project Manager, handling projects until 2016. Patrick then moved to Facility Solutions Group, where they worked as a Project Manager for a year. Currently, they are employed at Energy Resources USA as a Project Development Specialist/Project Manager, providing energy conservation solutions for various facility needs.
Patrick Sharkany earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Connecticut State University from 1992 to 1996. Patrick has also obtained several certifications, including Solar Energy Basics from the University at Albany, SUNY in December 2021, Energy Savings for HVAC Packaged Systems and IAQ Solutions & Covid-19 in Commercial Buildings from MAEEP in March 2021, Commercial Energy Auditor from the Energy Audit Institute in April 2016, 12hrs Continuing Education on LED Lighting from RAB Lighting in March 2016, and SolarEdge Solar Fundamentals Training from SolarEdge Technologies in February 2022.
