Dr. Andre da Silva is an experienced supply chain management professional currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain Management Function at Energy Development Oman since October 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. da Silva was with Mubadala Petroleum for nearly seven years, where responsibilities included overseeing global procurement and supply chain management, transforming strategic sourcing, and managing category processes for Southeast Asia operations. Dr. da Silva's extensive career also includes significant positions at BP, encompassing roles such as Global Subsea Market Sector Strategy Manager and Procurement and Supply Chain Management Manager for Angola, achieving substantial cost management and operational improvements. Dr. da Silva began a career in human resources with the United Nations, focusing on talent recruitment and development. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Business Administration specializing in Oil and Gas Supply Chain Management, along with CIPS Chartered FCIPS accreditation and a Master’s degree in Procurement and Supply Management.
