Marco Sbardella serves as the Head of Environment and Permitting at Enel Group since December 2020 and is also the Head of HSEQ Hydro Italy at Enel Green Power. With extensive experience in environmental management across various sectors, Marco Sbardella previously held leadership roles at Enel from 2008 to 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing environmental aspects across multiple countries and managing significant projects such as the startup of the El Quimbo Dam in Colombia. Additional experience includes positions at Slovenské elektrárne, where organizational restructuring was implemented, and as a Lean Production Project Manager at Enel, where innovative processes were developed in collaboration with McKinsey consultants. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi and studies at UCLA Anderson School of Management and Fudan University.
