Alexandra Calinikos is the Corporate Development and Strategy Director at the Financial Times, overseeing growth initiatives through M&A, strategic partnerships, and portfolio management since July 2017. In addition to this role, Alexandra serves on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations including Sifted, The Logic, Endpoints News, and TNW, providing strategic advice and governance. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Corporate Finance & Strategy at Pearson, where Alexandra managed global M&A and strategic analysis, and as an Associate in Corporate Finance at Investec, focusing on M&A and equity fundraisings in the TMT sector. Alexandra began an academic career as an Economics Research Assistant at the University of Oxford. Alexandra holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford.
