Urban Jangren is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience spanning several prominent companies. As a Senior Consultant and Advisor at Encore Semi Inc. since July 2011, Urban Jangren has supported tier 1 semiconductor companies through innovative design services. Previously, Urban Jangren held key leadership roles, including Senior Vice President Engineering at Rapid Bridge and VP of Engineering at QThink IC Design, where responsibilities encompassed managing engineering resources and developing methodologies for advanced technology IC implementations. Urban Jangren's background also includes significant positions at Intel Corporation as Silicon Director, Cadence Design Systems as Design Center Manager, and Unisys Corporation as Program Manager, among others. Urban Jangren holds an Executive MBA from UC San Diego Extended Studies and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Semiconductors from Chalmers University of Technology.
