Lucas Johnson is an experienced operations and lighting professional with a solid background in the performing arts. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Encore since November 2024, Lucas has also worked as a Lighting Department Manager at Productions Unlimited, Inc. from August 2023 to November 2024. A self-employed Lighting Designer, Lighting Technician, and Theatre Technician since June 2001, Lucas has held various roles including Production Manager and Head Electrician at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts from April 2013 to August 2023. Additional experience includes positions as Production Manager for Broadway Series South and Lighting Designer/Electrician at ATLAS PRODUCTION LIGHTING INC. Lucas earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts between 2008 and 2012.
