Sophia Sakr is a skilled software engineer with experience in the robotics field, currently working with Enchanted Tools since September 2022 on the grasping team, focusing on developing strategies for robot control, including PID, inverse kinematics, MPC, and collision avoidance. Prior to this, Sophia held a position as research and development engineer at Elveflow Microfluidics, where project management and design prototyping were key responsibilities. As a PhD student at ISIR, research focused on collaborative robotics and micro-assembly tasks, complemented by internship experiences in biomechanical modeling and user interface evaluation for robotic systems. Sophia's academic background includes a doctorate in robotics from Sorbonne Université and a master’s degree in mechatronics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, supplemented by a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
