Heidi Steinberg Laxton is an experienced professional in the energy and environmental sectors, currently serving as an Energy Transition Specialist and Environment Advisor at Enbridge Gas since January 2019. Previously, Heidi held the position of Environmental Advisor at Enbridge Gas Distribution from November 2015 to January 2019, and worked as an Environmental Engineer at GHD (formerly Conestoga-Rovers & Associates) from May 2008 to November 2015. Heidi holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, completed between 2013 and 2016, and has a background in Project Management from Ryerson University in 2009. Additionally, Heidi earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where studies were completed from 2003 to 2008.
