Phil Helm is an experienced Service Architect at Enact Mortgage Insurance, where responsibilities include mapping business capabilities to technology decisions and leading the modernization of the services technology stack since August 2016. Prior to this, Phil held the position of President for Iasa Raleigh from January 2015 to January 2019, overseeing chapter goals and membership engagement. Additionally, Phil served as an Adjunct Instructor, developing Wake Technical Community College's first IT Architecture course. Phil's previous experience includes roles such as Principal Software Engineer at MetLife, where technical leadership and solution design were key, and various positions at IBM that involved software development, mentoring, and educational module creation. Academic achievements include a Master of Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
