Nisreen Atta, MSN, RN, is the 2023 Emerging Professional Liaison to the Emergency Nurses Association Board of Directors, serving in a non-voting role.
Atta was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a minor in psychology. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Atta worked as an emergency department technician, where her love and drive for emergency nursing flourished. Atta became involved with Wisconsin ENA as the Milwaukee regional director and as a General Assembly delegate for Wisconsin in 2022.
In December 2022, Atta graduated with her Master of Science in nursing education from Duke University. She has worked as an adjunct clinical faculty member, striving to inspire and motivate the new generation of nurses through education and mentorship.
